A racing ambulance brings in a critically ill old woman, and her beautiful granddaughter Olika (played by Antonia Santilli) rushes to the hospital. Before she passes away, the old woman reveals a huge secret to her granddaughter: a box of jewels was buried in Russia many years ago. However, this secret is overheard by Mabitso (played by Tano Cimarosa), who is waiting in the ward for his wife to give birth, as well as Antonio (played by Alighiero Noschese), the ambulance driver, and the disabled doctor who broke his leg. So, they all board a plane to Russia to embark on a treasure hunt. They unexpectedly meet on the plane, and Mabitso steals the doctor's passport and hides it in the toilet; unexpectedly, the passport floats out the window and sticks to the window. In a panic, he kicks the glass and breaks it, causing the unsealed plane to go out of control, and he gets stuck in the window. The handsome tour guide Vasilev (played by Andrei Mironov) comes to greet them, and everyone splits up, engaging in comical and funny stories. The doctor, without a passport, must fly around the plane while the tour guide and two ambulance drivers speedily chase after Olika. Vasilev and Olika develop feelings for each other during the treasure hunt, but Olika unexpectedly discovers he is a police officer sent by the cultural relics bureau...
