In a bustling corner of the city, a single woman named Jeong-ya (played by Kong Seung-yeon) lives alone. She works as a call center operator at a company, handling customer inquiries and complaints daily, and regardless of whether the other party is emotional, she must not show any personal feelings. After work, she returns home alone; although she rents an apartment, she seldom communicates with her landlord or neighbors, maintaining a significant distance between them. One day, her lifeless existence begins to stir when a neighbor, who was merely an acquaintance, is found dead in their home after several days.
