Da Zhi (played by Tony Leung) works in an arcade. With no aspirations, he only hopes to get by day by day. The only skill he possesses is gaming, allowing him to show off among much younger kids. Ah Mei (played by Rebecca Chan) is Da Zhi's girlfriend. Although Da Zhi has always been indifferent to their relationship, loyal and virtuous Ah Mei still gently tolerates his capriciousness. One day, Ah Mei accidentally learns about Da Zhi's "glorious deeds" of infidelity, and in her heartbreak, she can no longer endure it and decides to leave him for good. Meanwhile, Da Zhi inadvertently gets involved with a gang boss's woman, bringing danger upon himself. The ensuing risks and troubles make Da Zhi begin to understand what truly deserves to be cherished in life. However, does he still have a chance to mend Ah Mei's already broken heart?
