The Bund in Shanghai is a paradise for countless dream chasers... The young man Ma Yongzhen (played by Wu Yung-long), endowed with divine strength, comes to Shanghai from his hometown to make a living. He finds a hard job under the old gang Axe Gang, which controlled half of Shanghai at that time.
