As the security chief of a mall, Ronnie (played by Seth Rogen) is very dissatisfied with his job. In his fantasies, he should be wearing a crisp uniform, carrying a badge and a gun; that's right, Ronnie's dream is to become a police officer. His dream is met with skepticism from colleagues and friends, especially the attractive cashier Brandi (played by Anna Faris), who often mocks Ronnie's unrealistic aspirations. One day, an opportunity that changes everything arrives when a gang of robbers breaks into the mall. Upon hearing the news, Ronnie quickly calculates in his mind, intending to capture the robbers himself to showcase his "outstanding" police talent. However, reality is not as optimistic as he imagined; Ronnie's reckless actions not only land him in trouble but also infuriate Officer Harrison (played by Ray Liotta), who is in charge of the case. Caught between cunning robbers and an angry police officer, Ronnie's situation is precarious.
