In the northern part of Thailand, across the Mekong River from Laos, in Vang Chan Province, on a stormy night, an unknown creature attacked the islanders. Its bite resembled that of a canine, but its toxicity was comparable to that of a king cobra. Victims displayed symptoms within 12 hours of the attack, and the only antibiotics available at the local hospital proved ineffective, resulting in heavy casualties and panic among the island's inhabitants. The local police deployed all available manpower in an attempt to capture the creature. Just as they were getting closer to the monster, a giant creature nearly 7 meters tall appeared, leaving destruction in its wake. Rescue efforts from the mainland were delayed due to torrential rains in the rainy season. People had to unite and use their limited resources to fend off the monster.
