In return, Tom will receive a substantial reward. Following Philippe's trail, Tom arrives in Nablus, where he meets Philippe and his fiancée, Maggy (Marie Laforêt). Tom is envious of Philippe's extravagant lifestyle, and he is captivated by Maggy's beauty and gentleness, leading to a wicked thought. During an outing, Tom orchestrates Philippe's murder, and to cover up his crime, he also kills Philippe's friend.
