After enduring many hardships, Riko Shiratori (played by Mayuko Kawakita), a wealthy girl who grew up in a honeypot, finally gets together with her long-time crush, Prince Charming Tetsuya Akimoto (played by Masaru Mizuno). They live under the same roof, enjoying a sweet and happy life together. One day, Tetsuya's basketball team is about to head to their hometown—Shimoda in Shizuoka Prefecture—for training. Tetsuya hopes to take this opportunity to introduce Riko to his family, and Riko is thrilled about it. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned; the Shiratori family is planning to develop a resort in Shimoda, which sparks strong opposition from the fishermen, led by Tetsuya's father. The stark differences between the wealthy Shiratori family and the Akimoto family become even more pronounced. Riko tries to persuade her father, Jitaro (played by Shihou Harumi), to abandon the original plan, but instead, she is grounded and prohibited from going out. During this time, their relationship faces severe tests. Nobuyuki Kiryu (played by Yutaka Kobayashi), a member of a prestigious family, visits, hoping to arrange a political marriage with Riko. Tetsuya's childhood friend, Yumi (played by Ikumi Hisamatsu), enters the fray and engages in a romantic battle for Tetsuya's affection. Can Riko, caught in the eye of the storm, break through the numerous shackles and tests of love? This film is adapted from Yumiko Suzuki's manga.
