The story takes place at the critical moment of the dissolution of East Germany. Rico (played by Julius Nitschkoff), Daniel (played by Merlin Rose), Paul (played by Frederic Haselon), and Mark (played by Joel Basman) are four young men growing up in this tumultuous and unique time. They each indulge in their youth in their own special ways. After a series of crazy experiences, the four of them partner to open a disco, only to have it taken over by neo-Nazi youths shortly after. Meanwhile, Rico still holds onto his dream of becoming a boxer, while Daniel is deeply infatuated with the beautiful Leipsic (played by Ruby O. Fee). As their fates are swept along by the wheels of time, what paths will each of them take?
