Jordan, 1967. A world in transformation: a struggle for energy, new trends, new music, and an expanding hope for the future. In Jordan, various changes are quietly occurring: thousands of Palestinian refugees are crossing the border into Jordan seeking asylum. Eleven-year-old Tarek is with his mother in the refugee queue, while his father has been forced to separate from the family due to the conflict. They are housed in activity tents in the refugee camp alongside the previous generation of refugees who escaped here in 1948, waiting for the day they can return home. Life in the refugee camp is dire, and Tarek, yearning to reunite with his father, dreams of leaving the camp and sees a glimmer of hope. His longing for freedom and curious nature lead him and a group of like-minded individuals on a journey that will change their destinies.
