Frida (played by Salma Hayek) is a famous Mexican painter. Before the age of 18, she was a happy and lively girl, enjoying the sweetness of love like everyone else. However, a car accident at 18 left her severely wounded, and after surviving, she was accompanied by pain for the rest of her life. Her former lover also left her. Lying in bed for 18 months, she spent her days with painting, which was filled with incredible vitality and passion. It was during that time that she began to consider selling her paintings to support herself. She sought guidance from the painter Rivera for her work, and he praised her talent. They transitioned from teacher and student to lifelong partners and got married. After marriage, they experienced one of the most turbulent revolutionary periods in Mexico, fervently following the footsteps of communism. They even warmly welcomed Trotsky when he was expelled from the Soviet Union by Stalin, unafraid of the risks. Frida’s vague romance with Trotsky, along with her lesbian inclinations, made her love life equally vibrant. In 1954, Frida left this world filled with pain, but may her departure be a blessing.
