Rudy (played by Kornél Mundruczó) grew up in an orphanage, having been abandoned by his parents at birth and never experiencing the warmth of family love. At 17, the longing for his parents intensified, and he decided to search for them. However, harsh reality soon made Rudy realize that his existence might not be a blessing to his relatives. In a chance encounter, Rudy got an audition opportunity. The director was deeply attracted by the gloomy aura Rudy exuded, believing he was the perfect choice for a role in his film. But fate has its twists; the director had no idea that the young man before him was his son, whom he had abandoned years ago.
