Sales department employee Takako Yamashita (Miki Nakatani) visits a Chinese home-style restaurant called "Shanghai Little Restaurant" and invites the talented chef, Boss Wang (Tatsuya Fuji), to open a shop in the mall. After being rejected, she persists and visits multiple times. Unsuccessful in her attempts, Takako unexpectedly becomes infatuated with the simple and delicious dishes that bring happiness, becoming a regular customer.
