Truth (played by Akiko Kikuchi) returns to her long-lost hometown, where she reunites with her ex-boyfriend Aji (played by Hiroyuki Kobayashi). Truth tells Aji that she has decided to open a shaved ice shop here, which confuses Aji greatly. Truth was once a stage art worker, deeply devoted to her career, so what could possibly have caused her to give up her former dream? Driven and determined, Truth quickly begins the shop's renovations.One day, a girl named Koha (played by Azusa Mikune) comes to Truth's side. Koha's mother and Truth's mother were good friends in college. Due to an accident, Koha was burned on her face, leaving her with extensive scars, which torments her heart. Seeing Koha's pain, Truth decides to save her; she invites Koha to stay and work at the shop, selling shaved ice together.
