Lucy's (voiced by Imelda Staunton) birthday is approaching, and Paddington (voiced by Ben Whishaw) decides to give her a gift that she will never forget. In the end, Paddington selects a pop-up book, but this book is a unique, precious treasure. To save money to buy the book, Paddington decides to take up a job. After a series of failures, Paddington finally finds a suitable job—cleaning windows. Just as Paddington's savings are about to reach the target, the book is stolen by a mysterious thief. Paddington, who appears at the scene, is apprehended as a suspect and ultimately sent to prison. In prison, Paddington uses his love and courage to change the dull atmosphere inside, while outside, the Brown family never gives up on finding a way to clear Paddington's name.
