In the year 1126 AD, the first year of the Jingkang era of the Northern Song Dynasty. The Jurchens from the northern desert invaded the Central Plains with 40,000 cavalry. Due to the incapacity of the retired Emperor Huizong and the disarray of military preparations, the Jin soldiers advanced straight in, as if entering an uninhabited land. They went on a rampage, burning and looting, directly attacking the capital city of Bianliang. On the day the city fell, the Jin soldiers captured Emperors Huizong and Qinzong, marking the disgrace of Jingkang. Afterward, Qinzong's brother Zhao Gao ascended the throne, known as Emperor Gaozong. The legendary hero Yue Fei protected Emperor Gaozong, who was trapped on Mount Niutou. To force Yue Fei to surrender, the Jin general Wuzhu sent the Second Prince Jin Danzai (played by Zhang Chengzhong), the Third Princess Yin Lingzi (played by Zhang Xiling), and Zhang Zhaonu (played by Zhang Yuening) to sneak attack Yue's stronghold, intending to capture Yue's mother as a bargaining chip. Yue Fei's son Yue Yun (played by Xun Feng) has loved practicing martial arts since childhood and wields a pair of silver hammers skillfully.
