In 1987, ambitious Jack Campbell (played by Nicolas Cage) bids farewell to his girlfriend, Kate (played by Téa Leoni), and heads to New York to pursue his dreams. Thirteen years later, Jack has become a hotshot investment broker on Wall Street, enjoying a successful career filled with luxury and surrounded by beautiful women, embodying a perfect and flawless successful persona. However, just two days before Christmas, Jack's life takes an extraordinary turn. Upon waking up, he finds himself back in his childhood home in New Jersey, with Kate now his wife and two lovely children.
