In a small town in Sicily, Gaetano has been the mayor for many years, renowned for his deceitful and political tactics. However, with a new mayoral election approaching, he is once again prepared to use various deceptive strategies to maintain his power. The people have become accustomed to the political whirlpool and deals, turning a blind eye to Gaetano's methods. But this time, Gaetano's opponent is Natori (played by Vincenzo Amato), a 50-year-old honest and upright professor, participating in politics for the first time.
