A young black boy nicknamed Bougnat (played by Claude Amazan) dreams of going to summer camp. However, just a day before departure, he discovers that his mother hasn't signed him up. He feels very frustrated and hopes to find a way to join the summer camp. In contrast, 14-year-old Rose (played by Isabelle Adjani) refuses to join the other children and hides on the roof before the group departs, but after some struggle, she reluctantly gets on the bus. Bougnat comes up with a plan: he changes his name, jumps on a train, and pretends to be a lost child to get to the summer camp. During the camp activities, Rose falls for the handsome counselor while Bougnat refreshes everyone's experience of the trip with his antics and games...
