This film tells the story of a U.S. reconnaissance squad sent on a mission in December 1944 during World War II. They encounter a German squad and, after several meetings, realize that the Germans are not interested in combat. Instead, they have a bizarre idea of performing a play with the German squad, aiming to make themselves look like heroes of the battle! Everything goes smoothly, and the German squad cooperates well.
