After countless years of slumber, the ancient fossil Fuṣamaḡnā has been revived due to a certain chance encounter, transforming into a snail monster as tall as the Eiffel Tower. The monster seems to have no consciousness, only instinct, as it slowly rolls its way through Tokyo to the sea. Wherever it rolls, it turns into ruins. The traditional yokai of Japan are filled with fear and attempt to summon the descendant of the deity Watanabe Tsuna to help deal with the snail monster. The fifth-grade boy Watanabe (played by Terada Kokoro), having lost his father, lives with his mother and younger brother. One night, through a dream, he meets yokai such as Kurohane, Rurukotsu, and Yuki-onna. These kind yokai request Watanabe to save the world. How can a young boy who barely passes his exams become a savior? A disaster is about to strike, and the yokai war is fully underway...
