This short film is the second part of Truffaut's famous "Antoine series," included in the anthology film "Love at 20." 17-year-old Antoine Doinel (Jean-Pierre Léaud) falls in love with the girl Colette (Marie-France Pisier) at first sight. After a series of "warm-up preparations," he gathers the courage to approach her, and thereafter they often meet to chat, have coffee, and listen to concerts. Antoine believes Colette shares his feelings and makes nearly crazy moves to pursue her more fervently, but Colette already has a boyfriend and only sees him as an ordinary friend.
