The plot follows handsome man Jonathan, who captures the heart of coal magnate's daughter Delia with his talents, thinking he can achieve success. Unexpectedly, circumstances take a turn, and he takes the risk of killing Delia. Her family believes she died by suicide, and her twin sister Ellen falls in love with Jonathan and marries him. After their marriage, she uncovers suspicious circumstances and secretly seeks the truth. Sean Young gives a remarkable performance portraying two very different sisters, while Matt Dillon plays the unfaithful husband, effectively depicting the mentality of American youth pursuing wealth by any means.
