"Demon Hand Destroying Flowers" is adapted from a story in "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio - The Tale of Jiang Fei." A vampire massacre occurs in the city involving young girls. Detective Song Yichen investigates the crime scene and discovers a floral mark on the forehead of each victim, leading him to suspect supernatural involvement. Song Yichen is attacked by a tree spirit, but he is saved by the flower fairy Jiang Fei, who brings him to the Three Heavens. Song Yichen notices that his aunt Jiang Fei also has a floral mark similar to those at the crime scene and suspects her of being the true culprit. Lei Ning'er, the leader of the demon-hunting clan, assists Song Yichen in the investigation; her true identity is a tree spirit, and she is doing all of this to find a way to the Three Heavens and avenge her aunt.
