A food factory in a certain city, Kangwei, is suffering from the trouble of “triangle debts,” unable to pay salaries and facing shutdowns. To recover outstanding debts, Factory Director Luo sends the most persistent old horse, the crafty Ding Zhong, and the beautiful and tearful Xu Xuefei to form a debt collection team to collect debts in Binhai City. Director Luo himself uses the excuse of business to hide from debts in another city. The debt collection team arrives in Binhai and, to make an impression, they rent a beautiful hotel room for Xu Xuefei, while old horse and Ding Zhong stay in a large room at a hostel with bunk beds. Their first stop is a trading company, where Ding Zhong devises a scheme to distract other debt collectors, old horse charms the female manager, and Xu Xuefei cries to the accounting department. The trio works seamlessly together and achieves initial success, securing the owed payments. Their second target is Tongkou Food Company. Due to a fire at Kangwei Food Factory that destroyed accounting documents, the trio cannot present any proof. After investigation, Ding Zhong learns that the company manager is an ambitious, business-oriented man who isn’t interested in women and is separated from his wife, so he devises a "hero saving beauty" scenario that makes old horse a frequent visitor at the manager's home, while Xu Xuefei is hired as a typist for the company and soon Ding Zhong also takes a job as a cleaner there. One night, Xu Xuefei and Ding Zhong enter the computer center to access the company’s debt records, but they are caught by the manager's secretary, Yadan. On the manager's birthday, Xu Xuefei delivers a birthday gift to his office, and under her cover, Ding Zhong searches Yadan's office for debt evidence but finds nothing, prompting them to devise a new plan. They approach their third debtor, Du Xing Company, formed by several lawless individuals. Ding Zhong learns that Du Xing Company will attempt to smuggle a famous painting and uses a “swap” tactic to steal the painting to lure Tongkou Food Company into the scheme, forcing Du Xing Company to agree to redeem the painting at a high price. Ding Zhong records the entire transaction process on video to blackmail the Tongkou Food Company manager into repaying their debt, but by this time, Tongkou has proactively settled their debts with Kangwei Food Factory. With assistance from the Tongkou Company manager, Ding Zhong and his team secretly set a trap, leading Du Xing Company to engage in a deal to buy and sell the painting with Hong Kong's Boss Zhu, ultimately recovering the substantial debt owed by Du Xing Company in full. Ding Zhong, old horse, and Xu Xuefei successfully complete their debt collection mission and leave Binhai City, with Ding Zhong winning Yadan's love, which is an unexpected harvest from their trip to Binhai.
