On his dark face, the deep lines etched by years of hardship and perseverance are evident. Farmer Lei Zekuan (played by Andy Lau) rides an old motorcycle across the vast and desolate lands of his homeland, on a long journey of fifteen years, no longer daring to hope for an end in sight. One day in 1998, his two-year-old son was abducted and has since been missing. This event completely changed Old Lei's life; with limited belongings and a wealth of missing person notices, he embarked on an endless quest. The hardships he faced went largely unnoticed. One day, while fixing his motorcycle, Old Lei encounters the handsome young man Zeng Shuai (played by Jing Boran). As if destined, Zeng Shuai shares a similar fate as Old Lei's son. This coincidence leads Zeng Shuai and Old Lei to travel together, one searching for his lost son, the other hoping to return to a dreamt-of hometown. Relatives with blurred faces may be waiting somewhere unknown...
