Fang Desheng (played by Andy Lau) and He Baoling (played by Liu Jinxin) are hometown friends and childhood sweethearts who share a deep bond. However, Fang Desheng harbors the dream of becoming an actor. To pursue this dream, he must leave his hometown and He Baoling, moving to the big city to chase his ambitions.
