Rasdi (played by Harrison Ford) has worked hard in the prosecutor's office for many years and eventually becomes the chief prosecutor. One day, assistant prosecutor Caroline (played by Greta Scacchi) appears by Rasdi's side and openly expresses her affection for him. It turns out that Caroline has long coveted Rasdi's position as chief prosecutor and hopes to help him obtain the position of director of the supervisory office so that she can benefit in the end. However, to her surprise, Rasdi is not an ambitious person and has no interest in climbing to the peak of power. Upon learning that her plan has failed, Caroline decisively leaves Rasdi. Yet one day, Rasdi suddenly receives news that Caroline has been murdered, and he is baffled by the fact that all the evidence at the crime scene points to him as the culprit. Rasdi realizes he has fallen into a trap meticulously planned by someone, and the only person willing to defend him is himself.
