The film tells five interwoven stories. Six characters appear in Amsterdam, some of them moved here voluntarily, while others did so purely by chance. Aside from being far from their places of origin, they seem to have nothing in common. Nevertheless, in their darkest moments, they profoundly affect each other's lives. If you didn't like the director's "A Touch of Sin," you won't like this Dutch contender either. The term "Paradise Suite" refers to victims of sex trafficking in hotel rooms being forced to cater to clients' needs. This is the story of Giana's storyline, and it is the most significant narrative thread of the film. It also symbolizes what these immigrants perceive as the "European Dream," which, like the suite, does not sound as beautiful as it is named.
