During the reign of the Ming Dynasty's Emperor Xiaozong, the Fusang Ghost King (played by Zuo Songsheng) appeared in Shijia Town, endangering humanity and taking the beautiful Shishi (played by Wang Zuxian) as his consort. The Ghost King caused countless deaths, inciting the wrath of heaven and the discontent of the people, leading the emperor to appoint the righteous military officer Ma Shangfeng (played by Cheng Kui'an) to capture him. In a moment of despair, the scribe recommends the skilled Caolu Ju Shi (played by Lin Zhengying) to assist Ma, only to discover that to defeat the Ghost King, he must sacrifice his own life. Enraged, Ma returns, and Caolu Ju Shi devises a plan to make Ma Shangfeng appear dead, turning him into a golden-armored warrior and having his disciple (played by Huang Yishan) serve as his bodyguard. The trio battles fiercely against the Ghost King, resulting in the opening of the celestial gate, allowing good and evil to traverse time and space to the modern era. Here, the three encounter various bizarre and amusing occurrences. By chance, Caolu Ju Shi discovers a female doctor named Gigi who strikingly resembles Shishi. The battle between good and evil, which has spanned hundreds of years, is set to unfold once again...
