Several unemployed youths who have committed crimes are sentenced to community service by the court, and they begin their work under the supervision of manager Harry (John Henshaw). Among them, a young man named Robbie (Paul Brannigan) has just learned about the birth of his girlfriend Leonie's (Siobhan Reilly) child, but he gets beaten up by her brothers.
