An empty airport terminal, where the male and female protagonists are about to part ways with their loved ones. The male lead, Gu Yan (played by Ge You), is at the airport sending off his wife, who is going to Canada for self-funded studies, when he encounters the female lead, Lin Zhouyun (played by Xu Fan), who is sending her husband abroad. Lin Zhouyun's husband rushes to board the plane without looking back at his wife, who is on the verge of giving birth.
