Wu Jincheng (played by Wan Ziliang) was born into a poor family. He ended up in prison after unintentionally killing someone while standing up for a brother. Years passed, and when Wu Jincheng finally returned home after serving his time, he was expelled by his father. With no other options, he joined a dance troupe as a bodyguard. In the troupe, Wu Jincheng met a singer named Ajun (played by Tian Niu). One day, Ajun had a conflict with some local thugs, and fortunately, she was saved by Wu Jincheng's protection.
