Li Ren (played by Andy Lau) became an orphan at a young age and grew up in an orphanage in Thailand. As an adult, he joined the Royal Thai Air Force. However, he was still haunted by the death of his parents. It turns out that when Li Ren was 9 years old, his parents brought him to Thailand with important documents and items, only to be betrayed and killed by his father's sworn brother. One day, Li Ren unwittingly gets involved with the enemy's mistress, Mona (played by Rosamund Kwan), leading to him being pursued by assassins.
