Qiu Qiu's parents divorced when she was six years old. Her mother, Pan Yulan, formed a new family with a man named Guan Zhengguang, while Qiu Qiu lived with her father, A Man. Missing her mother deeply, A Man sent Qiu Qiu to Pan Yulan's home. Unexpectedly, Guan Zhengguang returned home, resulting in a fierce argument between him and Pan Yulan over Qiu Qiu, who understood that she was the core of this conflict and left her mother's house in sadness. Yang Chunniang, who worked in the factory, fell in love with the hardworking A Man. The two eventually got together, with A Man concealing the fact that Qiu Qiu was his daughter. Qiu Qiu inadvertently learned about this, and in her sorrow and disappointment, she chose to run away from home. She was sent to the countryside to be cared for by A Man’s elderly parents, but they were too old to provide proper care, so Qiu Qiu had to return to Pan Yulan.
