Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy (Judah Lewis) are a close brother-sister duo. Despite their friends telling them that Santa Claus is not real, they decide to use a camera to capture evidence of Santa (Kurt Russell) on Christmas Eve to prove their friends wrong. When Christmas Eve arrives, the siblings are surprised to not only see Santa Claus in person but also get the chance to ride in his sleigh. However, an accident occurs due to their poor driving skills, resulting in the sleigh being destroyed, which could mean that all the children around the world might miss out on Christmas. To save this year's Christmas, Kate and Teddy decide to team up with Santa Claus.
