Frans Gaudrelet (played by Johnny Hallyday), once a notorious assassin twenty years ago, has opened a restaurant in Paris after retiring, living a peaceful life. One day, his daughter Ailian (played by Sylvie Testud), who resides in Macau, is attacked by unidentified assassins. Her husband and two grandsons are killed, leaving only Ailian to narrowly escape. Upon hearing the news, Frans rushes to Macau from France, and after seeing the grim scene, he is determined to exact revenge on behalf of his daughter’s family at any cost. Due to being unfamiliar with the area, Frans's investigation yields no progress. By chance, he encounters an assassination attempt at a hotel, leaving a deep impression of three assassins: A Gui (played by Anthony Wong), A Zhu (played by Lin Jia Dong), and Fei Le (played by Lam Suet). After a brief trial and interaction, Frans decides to hire the three as allies.
