In the palace of Cleopatra, Caesar (played by Alain Chabat) openly mocks the decline of the Egyptians. Furious, Cleopatra (played by Monica Bellucci) makes a wager with him, boldly claiming that she can build a luxurious palace in three months to prove the wisdom of the Egyptian people.
