This film participated in the "International Critics' Week" section of the 2010 Cannes Film Festival and won the "Youth Award." Francis (Xavier Dolan) and Marie (Monia Chokri) are a pair of close heterosexual friends. At a dinner party, they meet a country boy, Nicolas (Niels Schneider), who has just arrived in the city. As they become more involved with this handsome boy, the two usually close friends find that their surroundings have inexplicably changed, as if a new emotion is affecting them. Soon, Francis and Marie realize that they have both unknowingly fallen in love with the elusive boy Nicolas, and their once unbreakable friendship is facing its first real challenge.
