Like many young people of this era, Sam (played by Chris Pine) feels constrained by financial difficulties, leaving him at a loss. Just when he is desperate, the death of his estranged father gives him new hope. It turns out that Sam's father was a famous record producer, and his death means that Sam is about to inherit a vast fortune. However, what Sam cannot understand is that according to his father's will, he must give $150,000 to his sister Frankie (played by Elizabeth Banks), whom he has never met. In order to secure the entire inheritance, Sam decides to approach Frankie under a false identity to gather incriminating evidence against her. Unexpectedly, as they spend time together, Frankie's kindness and integrity gradually touch Sam, and he finds a long-lost sense of familial warmth in her presence.
