The bandit "One Branch Flower" is admired for robbing the rich to help the poor, but his sense of justice offends a femme fatale named "Revenge Woman." Although she is married as a concubine to a wealthy man known as "Cold-hearted Landlord," she never forgets the humiliation caused by "One Branch Flower" and vows to put him to death. "One Branch Flower" wanders the jianghu, but "Revenge Woman" does not let him go; instead, she fabricates numerous theft cases to have him pursued by the authorities. At that time, two small characters appear in the jianghu, one fat and one thin. The fat one, named "Exploding Belly," is straightforward and admires "One Branch Flower," often pretending to be a hero, while the thin one, named "Twisted Firewood," often acts smartly but frequently gets into trouble and likes to take small advantages. In search of the official reward, they both look for "One Branch Flower," and by chance, they encounter "Exploding Belly," later becoming close friends as they team up to find "One Branch Flower" together…
