When God closes a door for you, He often opens another one. The Italian boy Mick (played by Luca Capriotti) hails from a poor rural area, but he has dreamed of becoming a top film master since childhood, simply because of his immense love for cinema. However, God played a cruel joke on him; while handling a rifle, Mick accidentally fires it, plunging him into a vast darkness. This leads Mick to feel profoundly depressed, as if there is no longer any motivation to live. However, a comment from Teacher Tang at the blind school opens Mick's eyes; he realizes why musicians close their eyes while playing: because it transforms the notes, making them more powerful. Thus, Mick chooses to use his ears instead of his eyes to record the bits and pieces of his life. At this moment, we discover that not only can we see heaven, but we can also hear it.
