This film is a remake of Hitchcock's classic "Rear Window." Kyle (Shia LaBeouf) once had a happy family, but his life began to change a year ago when his father died in a car accident. Kyle has always believed that his father's death is related to him and has felt a lot of guilt. One day, when a teacher criticized Kyle and inadvertently mentioned his father, he exploded and threw the teacher out, resulting in a court ruling that sentenced him to three months of house arrest. 　　His mother tries to wash away her sorrow through work, so Kyle is left alone at home all day.
