Lin Baosheng (played by Chow Yun-fat) is a wealthy man from Hong Kong, already engaged to his cousin Yuxian (played by Li Zhih). However, Baosheng does not like his fiancée's vulgarity and decides to run away from the wedding, intending to prove that he can live independently.
