The appearance of a mysterious figure has left the residents of the town living in fear every day. He uses an evil machine to create many terrifying monsters, unleashing them in the town to cause chaos. At this point, it's up to the members of the "Mystery Inc." to step in, but eager and ready to go Shaggy (Matthew Lillard) and his partner Scooby-Doo (voiced by Neil Fanning) are told to stay at the company and not participate in the mission. Unwilling to accept this, Shaggy decides to investigate the truth of the incident privately with Scooby-Doo to restore their tarnished reputation, but they end up causing a lot of trouble. As the investigation deepens, the museum curator Patrick (Seth Green) slowly reveals his conspiracy, with clues indicating that everything may be intricately tied to the legendary demon's revenge.
