In 1939, Nazi Germany occupied Poland and subsequently began the massacre and expulsion of the local Jewish population. Many Jews were killed in the slaughter, while a small number hid in the forests and escaped the horror. Tuvia Bielski (played by Daniel Craig) is one of these Jews. But he is not an ordinary victim. Tuvia, whose parents were murdered by the Germans, encounters his two younger brothers—Zus (played by Liev Schreiber) and Asael (played by Jamie Bell)—in the forest, and together they prepare to flee from Poland to Belarus. However, they come across surviving Jewish companions in the woods. As more people gather, food and supplies begin to run low, and the German army's pursuit catches them off guard. At this moment, Tuvia makes a stunning decision: to form a guerrilla group to resist the German attacks. Can Tuvia lead his troops to successfully fight back against the Germans, armed with superior weapons and overwhelming numbers?
