Malhotra (played by Sachin Khedekar) is fortunate to have his wife conceive twins; however, just as the babies are born, the evil criminal Charles kidnaps one of the children. During a police chase, Charles discards the baby, who is fortunately adopted by a kind woman named Kashi and named Raja (played by Varun Dhawan), while Malhotra takes the other child Prem (also played by Varun Dhawan) to London, UK, to escape the ongoing threat from the criminal. Years pass swiftly, and Prem has grown up to be a timid boy, whereas Raja has become a local tough guy in Mumbai; the personalities of the two brothers couldn't be more different. Because Prem and Raja are twins, they often experience a psychic connection, leading to numerous comical situations.
