Liu Xi (played by Wu Jing), who was adopted by a lama since childhood, followed his adoptive father, Jixiang (played by Sammo Hung), to escort the "Offering Buddha's Heaven Pearl," but unexpectedly, it was stolen by a group of mysterious people along the way. Jixiang suspects the incident is related to the "Twin Gate," which vanished many years ago, and thus sought out the principal from that time, Chang Zhong (played by Yuan Hua). To quickly find the lost pearl, Jixiang and Chang Zhong decide to reorganize the "Twin Gate," retrieving twin sisters Pearl (played by Charlene Choi) and Treasure (played by Gillian Chung) from a circus, along with other students. After a long pursuit, they finally discover the whereabouts of the pearl and engage in a fierce battle with a group that seems to be related to the "Twin Gate." Liu Xi ultimately snatches the "Heaven Pearl" but mistakenly hands it over to Chang Zhong’s brother, Chang Yong. At the same time, more secrets are discovered.
