Elle (Reese Witherspoon) possesses enviable beauty — blonde hair, fair skin, tall stature, and a flair for fashion, resembling a gorgeous Barbie doll. Her looks and lively personality make Elle the perfect girl. Her boyfriend Warner (Matthew Davis) is also impressive, coming from a wealthy background and having good looks. The two are a perfect match, but unknowingly, Warner never sees Elle as a lifelong partner; to him, she is just a pretty face with no other merits. After getting accepted into Harvard Law School, he breaks up with Elle to rekindle his romance with an ex-girlfriend. Unwilling to back down, Elle manages to get into Harvard as well, determined to prove that she is more than just a pretty exterior. Life at Harvard is very dull, and this blonde beauty faces discrimination everywhere. To everyone’s surprise, Elle cleverly establishes a successful career.
