In Gotham City, a series of kidnapping cases point to Batman as the prime suspect. Batman (voiced by Jason O'Mara) and Green Lantern (voiced by Justin Kirk) split up to find clues about the true culprit, who self-destructs after leaving behind a mysterious device. To uncover the secrets of the device, the two set out to find Superman (voiced by Alan Tudyk) in hopes of getting to the truth. As they get closer to the facts, the device suddenly activates, revealing itself to be a time-space portal set up by an alien invader, through which a large number of aliens begin their invasion of Earth. Meanwhile, Dr. Stone investigates the mysterious device, and Dr. Stone's son, Vic (voiced by Shemar Moore), is accidentally infected by the device, leading to his resurrection as a powerful super warrior. A crisis unprecedented unfolds, with Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, The Flash (voiced by Christopher Gorham), and Diana (voiced by Michelle Monaghan) all getting caught in the battle...
